The Religious Studies major will:
- Articulate the teachings and practices of Christianity and at least one other religious tradition
- Apply the various interdisciplinary methods used by theologians and scholars of religion in the study of religion
- Analyze and assess religion as a cultural phenomenon leading to engaged cultural critique
- Make ethical decisions informed by reason, empathy, compassion, and self-awareness in order to lead socially just lives
